I'm currently reading the 9th week of the "artist's way". I started together with a few friends and it's really interesting how that book changed us all. My friend ended up quitting her 9-17 job and is currently writing a movie script, another one started a blog, and for me it helped to get back again into painting. I also write my morning pages each day and as a result ended up discovering a lot of interesting things about myself. It definitely boosted my creativity both at work as well as in my personal life. We all are artists and this what that book helps us re-discover.
what can i say? i must be one of a gazillion people who say that this book changed something inside of them. it rattles on the cage that you have built all by yourself and destroys a few misconceptions we all have about what it means to be creative. the only things even better that this course is learning to channel or reading conversations with god if you're into that sort of thing. if you're not THAT brave, go with this. you won't regret it.

Very inspirational to say the least, and one of the bibles for anyone who considers him/herself an artist.
I am very impressed by this book ( written decades ago (1994) but is still up to date) and am doing all tasks advised in it. A real workshop, indeed, with wonderful (many times humorous) essays that leaves one wishing for more and tasks that are fun to do, opening windows to new 'landscapes' of our hearts, mind and creativity. For all who are interested to activate or reactivate their artistic vein, a MUST!
